简介
NGL-1/LRRC4C protein may promote neurite outgrowth of thalamic neurons, suggesting a role in neurodevelopment. The specific molecular mechanisms and their interactions with NTNG1 and WHRN require further study. NGL-1/LRRC4C Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived NGL-1/LRRC4C protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NGL-1 (Neuronal Growth Regulator 1) and LRRC4C (Leucine-Rich Repeat Containing 4C) are two proteins implicated in the regulation of neuronal development and synaptic plasticity. NGL-1 is known to play a critical role in promoting excitatory synapse formation by interacting with various proteins involved in synapse maturation, while LRRC4C is thought to function as an auxiliary subunit that modulates receptor activity, specifically those of AMPA-type glutamate receptors. The study of NGL-1/LRRC4C recombinant proteins has gained significance in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying synaptic transmission and neural network formation. Recent advances in structural biology and biochemistry have enabled researchers to produce these proteins in recombinant form, allowing for detailed analysis of their interactions and functional characteristics. Examining the recombinant NGL-1/LRRC4C proteins can provide insights into their roles in both normal physiology and pathological conditions such as neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. By elucidating the mechanisms by which these proteins influence neuronal connectivity and synaptic efficacy, researchers aim to pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing synaptic function and mitigating the effects of neurological diseases. Overall, the investigation of NGL-1 and LRRC4C at the protein level is crucial for a deeper understanding of synaptic biology and its impact on cognitive function.
