简介
IL-22BP/IL-22RA2 proteins (especially isoform 2) act as IL22 receptors and antagonists, inhibiting IL22 activity by preventing its interaction with functional IL-22R complexes in vitro. This regulatory effect suggests its potential in modulating inflammatory responses. IL-22BP/IL-22RA2 Protein, Human (HEK293, His-Fc) is the recombinant human-derived IL-22BP/IL-22RA2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc, C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-22BP (Interleukin-22 Binding Protein) is a soluble receptor that inhibits the biological activity of IL-22, an important cytokine involved in immune response and tissue homeostasis. The IL-22/IL-22RA1 signaling pathway plays a crucial role in regulating inflammation and tissue repair, particularly in epithelial tissues. Dysregulation of this pathway has been associated with various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, such as psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. The IL-22RA2 (IL-22 receptor alpha 2) is a key component of this inhibitory mechanism, as it binds to IL-22 and prevents it from activating its receptor complex. Given the significance of IL-22 in mediating protective immunity as well as contributing to pathological conditions, the recombinant expression of IL-22BP/IL-22RA2 has become a focal point for research aimed at understanding its role in immunoregulation. Investigating the properties of this recombinant protein could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies that target IL-22 signaling, offering potential benefits for managing autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. The study of IL-22BP/IL-22RA2 not only enhances our understanding of immune modulation but also provides insights into potential interventions that could restore balance in dysregulated immune systems. This research is crucial in the development of innovative treatments that could alleviate the burden of diseases linked to altered IL-22 activity.
