稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Profilin-2 is an essential actin-binding protein that plays a crucial role in cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular processes such as cell motility, division, and signal transduction. It is part of the profilin family, which is known for its ability to regulate actin polymerization by binding to G-actin and promoting the formation of F-actin. Research on Profilin-2 has gained prominence due to its implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and cardiac dysfunction. Variations in Profilin-2 expression and function can significantly affect cellular architecture and mobility, making it a potential biomarker for disease progression. In the context of recombinant protein studies, Profilin-2 has been extensively investigated for its biochemical properties, interaction with other proteins, and effects on actin dynamics. The production of recombinant Profilin-2 allows for a deeper understanding of its structural characteristics and functional mechanisms, providing insights that could lead to novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating cytoskeletal functions in disease contexts. Through mutagenesis and other biochemical assays, researchers are exploring the specific domains of Profilin-2 that mediate its interactions with actin and other signaling pathways. This body of work not only contributes to a comprehensive understanding of Profilin-2's role in cellular biology but also paves the way for potential applications in drug development and targeted therapies for diseases linked to cytoskeletal dysfunction.
