Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LY6G6D is a member of the LY6 family of proteins characterized by the presence of a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor, which is implicated in various biological functions, particularly in immune response and cell adhesion processes. The study of LY6G6D has gained attention due to its potential roles in modulating T-cell responses and involvement in autoimmune diseases and cancer. Preliminary research indicates that LY6G6D may act as a co-regulator in immune signaling pathways, influencing the activation and proliferation of lymphocytes. Understanding the functional mechanisms of LY6G6D can provide insights into its application as a biomarker for disease progression and its potential as a therapeutic target. Moreover, the recombinant expression of LY6G6D protein in vitro enables further exploration of its interactions and effects on immune cells, highlighting its relevance in immunology and therapeutic development. Given the rising interest in immunotherapeutics, LY6G6D stands as a promising candidate for elucidating new strategies in treating immune-related conditions.
