简介
IL-20R beta Protein (IL20RB) is the beta subunit of IL-20 receptor, forms functional heterodimers with different subunit protein and involves in STAT3 activation pathway[1]. The IL-20RA/IL-20RB dimer is a receptor for IL-19, IL-20 and IL-24. The IL-22RA1/IL-20RB dimer is a receptor for IL-20 and IL-24[2]. IL-20R beta Protein is consists of 308 amino acids (M1-T308) with a transmembrane domain (226-249 a.a.). IL-20R beta Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is produced in HEK293 cells with a C-Terminal hFc-tag.

Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human IL-19, at 0.1 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind IL-20R beta. The ED50 for this effect is 28.75 ng/mL. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-20 receptor beta (IL-20Rβ) is a critical component of the IL-20 receptor complex, which plays a significant role in various inflammatory and immune responses. This receptor is primarily expressed in skin and other epithelial tissues, where it mediates the effects of IL-20, IL-24, and IL-22, cytokines linked to dermatological diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Research has shown that IL-20Rβ signaling influences keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant IL-20Rβ protein is produced to study its structure, function, and interactions with ligands. Understanding the signaling pathways and biological roles of IL-20Rβ can provide insights into its involvement in skin pathologies and may lead to novel treatment strategies. Furthermore, characterizing this receptor can shed light on the broader implications of IL-20 cytokines in immune regulation and chronic inflammatory diseases. The development and utilization of IL-20Rβ recombinant proteins in research facilitate the exploration of its therapeutic potential and contribute to the advancement of targeted therapies in dermatology and immunology.
