  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Interleukin-10 receptor alpha (IL-10Rα) is a crucial component of the interleukin-10 signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in regulating immune responses and maintaining homeostasis. IL-10 is an anti-inflammatory cytokine that modulates immune cell functions, promoting tolerance and inhibiting excessive inflammatory responses. Dysfunctional IL-10 signaling is associated with various autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammatory conditions, and even cancer. The study of IL-10Rα has gained attention due to its potential as a therapeutic target; enhancing IL-10 signaling could provide new avenues for treating inflammation-related disorders. Researchers have focused on developing recombinant IL-10Rα proteins for various applications, including characterizing its structure and function, elucidating the mechanisms of IL-10 signaling, and assessing its role as a biomarker. Additionally, these recombinant proteins can be utilized in preclinical and clinical studies to evaluate their efficacy in restoring normal immune function and improving outcomes in patients with inflammatory diseases. Understanding the biology of IL-10Rα and its signaling pathways highlights its importance in immune regulation and underscores the potential for therapeutic innovation in manipulating immune responses.
