简介
The Kallikrein-5 protein may be involved in desquamation, suggesting a role in the process of skin shedding and exfoliation. Its association with desquamation suggests that it plays a role in regulating the removal of dead skin cells, which is critical for skin homeostasis. Kallikrein-5 Protein, Mouse (271a.a, HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Kallikrein-5 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Kallikrein-15 (KLK15) is a member of the kallikrein family of serine proteases, known for their role in various physiological processes including tissue remodeling, inflammation, and hormone regulation. Research into KLK15 has gained significant traction due to its potential implications in cancer biology, particularly breast cancer and other malignancies. This serine protease is thought to be involved in the regulation of the extracellular matrix and may influence tumor progression and metastasis. Additionally, KLK15 has been identified as a biomarker for certain pathological conditions, providing insights into its possible role in disease diagnosis and prognosis. The recombinant production of KLK15 allows for detailed studies into its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and functional roles within biological systems. Understanding the mechanisms by which KLK15 operates can lead to novel therapeutic strategies and biomarker development. Furthermore, the exploration of KLK15 may shed light on the broader functions of the kallikrein family in health and disease, highlighting its significance in biomedical research.
