Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fetuin B, a member of the fetuin family of glycoproteins, has garnered attention due to its significant role in metabolic processes and physiological functions. Initially identified as a serum protein predominantly produced in the liver, Fetuin B is implicated in regulating lipid metabolism and insulin sensitivity. Its expression has been linked to various metabolic disorders, including obesity and type 2 diabetes, making it a potential biomarker for these conditions. Recent studies have highlighted its function in modulating inflammation and understanding its molecular mechanisms may unveil new therapeutic approaches for metabolic diseases. The recombinant production of Fetuin B offers opportunities to study its structure-function relationships more effectively and to explore its interactions with other biomolecules in detail. Moreover, the ability to produce this protein in significant quantities is crucial for developing assays and interventions targeting Fetuin B's pathways. By elucidating these pathways, researchers hope to clarify the protein's multifaceted role in metabolism, paving the way for innovative treatments for obesity-related disorders and beyond.
