Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Apolipoprotein B-100 (ApoB-100) is a crucial protein involved in lipid metabolism and a key component of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) particles, which play a significant role in cholesterol transport and cardiovascular health. Elevated levels of ApoB-100 have been linked to a higher risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases, making it an important target for research and therapeutic development. The study of recombinant ApoB-100 protein is vital for understanding its structure-function relationships, interaction with lipids, and its role in lipoprotein assembly and catabolism. Recombinant technology allows for the production of this protein in a controlled environment, facilitating detailed biochemical characterization and the investigation of its potential as a biomarker for cardiovascular risk assessment. Furthermore, research on ApoB-100 is essential for developing novel therapeutic strategies, including monoclonal antibodies and other innovative approaches to lower LDL cholesterol levels in patients with dyslipidemia. By isolating and studying recombinant ApoB-100, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms of lipid transport and metabolism, paving the way for targeted interventions that could significantly improve patient outcomes in cardiovascular diseases.
