Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCG3, or Secretogranin-3, is a member of the secretogranin family, a group of proteins involved in the storage and release of neuropeptides and hormones in neuroendocrine cells. It plays a crucial role in intracellular sorting and the formation of secretory granules. Research on SCG3 has garnered attention due to its potential implications in various physiological and pathological processes, particularly in neuroendocrine tumors and disorders involving neuropeptide dysregulation. Understanding the structure and function of SCG3 can provide insights into its role in normal neuroendocrine function as well as its involvement in diseases, such as cancer. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of SCG3 to facilitate the analysis of its biological activity and interactions with other molecules. The production of recombinant SCG3 enables researchers to elucidate its functional properties, structural characteristics, and potential as a therapeutic target. Investigating the biochemical pathways and mechanisms associated with SCG3 can ultimately contribute to the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for neuroendocrine system-related conditions, underlining the importance of ongoing research in this field.
