STAT1

简介
STAT1 is a signal transducer and activator of transcription that responds to interferons, KITLG/SCF, and growth factors. After type I IFN binds, STAT1 and STAT2 form ISGF3, which translocates to the nucleus and activates ISG transcription. STAT1 Protein, Human (sf9, His-GST) is the recombinant human-derived STAT1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with N-10*His, N-GST labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAT1 (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 1) is a crucial transcription factor that plays a pivotal role in mediating the cellular response to various cytokines and growth factors, particularly in the immune system. Upon activation by interferons, STAT1 undergoes dimerization and translocates to the nucleus, where it regulates the expression of genes involved in immune response, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of STAT1 has been implicated in several diseases, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and infectious diseases. The study of recombinant STAT1 proteins is essential for elucidating its functional mechanisms, as these proteins can be utilized in various experimental systems to investigate their signaling pathways and interactions with other proteins. Additionally, the ability to produce STAT1 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to perform in vitro assays, structural studies, and potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the nuances of STAT1 signaling and its protein interactions is vital for developing targeted therapies and advancing our knowledge of immune regulation. As research continues, recombinant STAT1 proteins provide invaluable tools for exploring the complexities of STAT1 function and its implications in health and disease.
