Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Syndecan-4 is a cell surface proteoglycan belonging to the syndecan family, which plays pivotal roles in various physiological and pathological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. Given its involvement in wound healing, inflammation, and cancer metastasis, research has increasingly focused on Syndecan-4 as a potential therapeutic target. The extracellular part of Syndecan-4 serves as a co-receptor for various growth factors and cytokines, thereby influencing cellular responses to the extracellular matrix (ECM) and intercellular interactions. The production of recombinant Syndecan-4 proteins has enhanced our ability to study its biological functions and interactions in vitro and in vivo, providing insights into its mechanisms of action. Additionally, these recombinant proteins can be utilized to elucidate Syndecan-4's role in pathological conditions, potentially leading to the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Recent studies have indicated that modulating Syndecan-4 levels can impact tumor progression and immune responses, highlighting its significance in cancer biology and regenerative medicine. Thus, the development and characterization of Syndecan-4 recombinant proteins are crucial for advancing our understanding of its multifaceted roles in health and disease, paving the way for innovative treatments targeting this versatile proteoglycan.
