PHOSPHO1

简介
PHOSPHO1 Protein, a phosphatase, is crucial in generating inorganic phosphate for bone mineralization, displaying high activity toward phosphoethanolamine (PEA) and phosphocholine (PCho). It collaborates with PHOSPHO1 in skeletal mineralization, initiating hydroxyapatite crystallization in matrix vesicles (MVs), while ALPL/TNAP catalyzes hydroxyapatite crystallization in the extracellular matrix. PHOSPHO1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived PHOSPHO1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PHOSPHO1 is a critical enzyme involved in the regulation of phosphate metabolism and bone mineralization. It primarily functions in the hydrolysis of phosphocholine and phosphoethanolamine, leading to the generation of inorganic phosphate, which is crucial for hydroxyapatite formation in bone. Understanding the role of PHOSPHO1 is essential as its dysregulation has been linked to various skeletal disorders, including osteomalacia and osteoporosis. Researchers have focused on characterizing PHOSPHO1 through recombinant protein expression to elucidate its enzymatic properties, structure-function relationships, and regulatory mechanisms. Recombinant PHOSPHO1 is produced using techniques such as bacterial or yeast expression systems, allowing for the assessment of its activity and interaction with other proteins and substrates in vitro. Additionally, this research provides insights into its potential as a therapeutic target for bone-related diseases. By studying the recombinant form of PHOSPHO1, scientists aim to develop a better understanding of its biological significance and the implications of its function in bone health and disease. This knowledge may lead to novel approaches for the prevention and treatment of skeletal disorders, enhancing the quality of life for individuals affected by these conditions.
