Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Pleckstrin, an important protein in the signaling pathways of cells, primarily functions as a cytosolic protein that plays a crucial role in the activation of platelets and other cells in the immune response. It is known to interact with phosphoinositides and actin, linking membrane signaling to the cytoskeleton. Research into recombinant pleckstrin has gained significance due to its potential applications in understanding diseases related to platelet dysfunction, such as thrombosis and bleeding disorders. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, scientists are able to produce large quantities of pleckstrin, allowing for detailed studies of its structure and function. This protein's interactions can reveal insights into various cellular processes and facilitate the development of therapeutic strategies targeting specific signaling pathways. In addition to its role in hemostasis, pleckstrin's involvement in other cellular activities like cell migration, proliferation, and apoptosis makes it a valuable target for research in cancer biology. Thus, the study of recombinant pleckstrin not only enhances our understanding of fundamental biological processes but also opens avenues for innovative treatments for related pathological conditions.
