简介
ESM-1 (Endocan) serves a vital role in angiogenesis by promoting new blood vessel sprouting. Its implication in lung endothelial cell-leukocyte interactions suggests potential significance in regulating immune responses within the pulmonary vasculature. ESM-1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived ESM-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ESM-1, or endothelial cell-specific molecule 1, is a protein primarily expressed in endothelial cells and plays a crucial role in regulating vascular biology and inflammation. Its expression is often upregulated in various pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory disorders, making it a potential biomarker for these conditions. Research into ESM-1 has revealed its involvement in processes such as angiogenesis, where it influences the formation of new blood vessels, and its interaction with immune cells, impacting the inflammatory response. Consequently, ESM-1 has garnered interest as a therapeutic target and diagnostic tool. Studies investigating the recombinant form of ESM-1 focus on its structure, function, and potential applications, aiming to elucidate its biological significance and assess its viability for clinical use. By characterizing the recombinant protein, researchers aim to better understand its role in disease mechanisms, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies that could leverage ESM-1 modulation to improve patient outcomes in various vascular and inflammatory diseases.
