LRIG1

简介
The LRIG1 protein acts as a feedback negative regulator of receptor tyrosine kinase signaling, enhancing receptor ubiquitination and promoting intracellular degradation. It interacts with various receptors, including EGFR/ERBB1, ERBB2, ERBB3, and ERBB4, through its extracellular leucine-rich repeats (LRR) and immunoglobulin-like domains. LRIG1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived LRIG1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRIG1 (leucine-rich repeats and immunoglobulin-like domains 1) is a pivotal regulator of cellular signaling pathways, particularly in relation to stem cell biology and cancer. It is known to play a critical role in modulating receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) signaling, thereby influencing processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Alterations in LRIG1 expression have been observed in various cancers, suggesting its potential as a tumor suppressor. Given its significant regulatory functions, researchers are increasingly interested in investigating the properties and mechanisms of LRIG1 through recombinant protein studies. The generation of LRIG1 recombinant proteins enables detailed analyses of its interactions with RTKs and other cellular signaling components, facilitating a greater understanding of its role in tumorigenesis and normal cellular processes. Investigating LRIG1 at the molecular level can also pave the way for potential therapeutic applications, particularly in developing targeted treatments for cancers characterized by dysregulated RTK signaling. The ongoing research into LRIG1 recombinant proteins holds promise for uncovering novel insights into cancer biology and the broader mechanisms of cell signaling.
