简介
CL-L1/COLEC10, operating as a lectin, displays distinct sugar-binding preferences, with a hierarchy of galactose > mannose = fucose > N-acetylglucosamine > N-acetylgalactosamine. Apart from its sugar-binding role, CL-L1/COLEC10 functions as a chemoattractant, suggesting potential engagement in the modulation of cell migration. CL-L1/COLEC10 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant mouse-derived CL-L1/COLEC10 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CL-L1, also known as COLEC10, is a member of the collectin family of proteins, which play pivotal roles in the immune system by recognizing and binding to a variety of pathogens. These proteins are characterized by their collagen-like structure and lectin domains, enabling them to bind to carbohydrate structures on microbial surfaces. The study of CL-L1/COLEC10 is particularly significant due to its potential involvement in innate immune responses and its capacity to modulate inflammation and autoimmunity. Recent research has highlighted the role of CL-L1 in recognizing specific pathogens, contributing to pathogen clearance and influencing dendritic cell function, thereby bridging innate and adaptive immunity. Furthermore, variations in the expression of CL-L1/COLEC10 have been linked to certain diseases, including autoimmune disorders, making it a candidate for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the molecular structure and biological functions of CL-L1/COLEC10 is crucial for elucidating its role in immune defense and developing novel strategies for disease treatment, emphasizing the importance of ongoing research into this intriguing protein.
