简介
The Testican 3/SPOCK3 protein may be involved in different steps of neurogenesis, suggesting a multifaceted role in neuronal cell development. It inhibits pro-matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP-2) processing through MT1-MMP and MT3-MMP and regulates MMP-2 activity. Testican 3/SPOCK3 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Testican 3/SPOCK3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Testican 3, also known as SPOCK3, is a member of the SPOCK family of proteins that play crucial roles in various physiological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and the regulation of extracellular matrix components. The importance of Testican 3 has been highlighted in multiple studies, particularly due to its involvement in cancer progression and neural development. Research indicates that Testican 3 may act as a modulator in tumor microenvironments, influencing cancer cell behavior and the interaction with surrounding stromal cells. Additionally, its expression patterns are often altered in various malignancies, suggesting a potential role as a biomarker for certain cancers. Despite its significance, the biochemical properties and functional mechanisms of Testican 3 remain largely underexplored. This gap in knowledge has prompted researchers to focus on the recombinant expression of Testican 3 to elucidate its structure and function. By producing a recombinant version of this protein, scientists aim to investigate its interactions with other cellular components and to better understand its roles in normal and pathological conditions. Overall, the study of Testican 3/SPOCK3 not only advances our understanding of its biological functions but also holds promise for developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting its pathways in cancer and other diseases.
