简介
HHLA2 protein, a key immune regulator, interacts with TMIGD2, providing crucial costimulation for T-cells during TCR-mediated activation. This interaction amplifies T-cell proliferation and cytokine production through an AKT-dependent signaling cascade, revealing HHLA2's role in enhancing T-cell responses and immune modulation. HHLA2 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived HHLA2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HHLA2, or human endogenous retrovirus-H long terminal repeat-associated protein 2, belongs to the B7 family of immune regulatory molecules. Its expression is mainly observed in immune cells, particularly in dendritic cells and macrophages. Given its role in modulating immune responses, HHLA2 has attracted significant attention in cancer immunotherapy research. Studies have indicated that HHLA2 can inhibit T-cell activation and function, suggesting it may act as a negative regulator of the immune system. This immunosuppressive property raises questions about its potential involvement in tumor evasion mechanisms. Consequently, researchers are investigating HHLA2 as a target for cancer treatment, aiming to block its function and enhance the anti-tumor immune response. The development of recombinant HHLA2 proteins serves as a valuable tool for elucidating the precise mechanisms by which this protein influences immune cells and for exploring its implications in various clinical settings, including cancer therapy. Understanding the biological functions and pathways associated with HHLA2 could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies that leverage immune modulation to improve patient outcomes in cancer and other diseases characterized by immune dysregulation.
