简介
CNDP2 Protein, an enzyme, plays a vital role in the metabolism of carnosine and homocarnosine. Dysregulation of CNDP2 Protein has been linked to diabetic nephropathy and neurodegenerative disorders. Targeting CNDP2 Protein may offer potential therapeutic strategies by regulating carnosine metabolism, improving renal function, and potentially treating these conditions. CNDP2 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived CNDP2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CNDP2 (Catalytic domain of neutral dipeptidases 2) is a protein that has gained interest in recent years due to its potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. Research indicates that CNDP2 may be involved in regulating metabolism, particularly in the context of diabetes and obesity, given its position in the dipeptidyl peptidase family, which is crucial for peptide hormone inactivation. The study of CNDP2 and its recombinant protein form is particularly important for understanding its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and potential interactions with other metabolic pathways. Recent advancements in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of CNDP2 in various expression systems, allowing scientists to investigate its structure-function relationships and therapeutic potential. Moreover, studies have suggested that CNDP2 might be implicated in neuroprotective mechanisms, further emphasizing its relevance in neurodegenerative diseases. With diseases involving metabolic dysregulation and inflammation on the rise, unraveling the pathways associated with CNDP2 could lead to novel therapeutic targets. Consequently, ongoing research focuses on characterizing CNDP2 recombinant proteins to elucidate their biological roles, develop specific inhibitors or activators, and explore their implications in drug development for conditions such as type 2 diabetes and neurodegeneration. This burgeoning field of study underscores the importance of CNDP2 as a promising candidate for clinical applications and a key player in metabolic health.
