Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Animal-Free PGA5 recombinant proteins have emerged as a groundbreaking development in biotechnology, primarily driven by the increasing demand for ethical and sustainable alternatives to traditional animal-derived proteins. The use of animal sources poses significant ethical concerns and risks related to zoonotic diseases, environmental impact, and resource inefficiency. PGA5, a member of the polygalacturonase (PG) enzyme family, plays a crucial role in plant cell wall degradation and has potential applications in food processing, agriculture, and bioengineering. Recent advancements in synthetic biology and recombinant DNA technology allow for the production of PGA5 proteins in non-animal systems, such as yeast, bacteria, or plant cell cultures. This approach not only bypasses the ethical dilemmas associated with animal use but also ensures a higher level of purity and consistency in the protein produced. Furthermore, animal-free production methods can significantly reduce production costs and time, making PGA5 accessible for various industries. Research in this area focuses on optimizing expression systems, enhancing protein yield, and characterizing the biochemical properties of the recombinant PGA5. As society increasingly shifts towards sustainable practices and transparency in food production, the exploration and advancement of animal-free recombinant proteins like PGA5 are becoming essential not only for scientific progress but also for aligning with consumer expectations and regulatory standards. This transition represents a vital step in the movement towards more ethical biotechnological solutions while maintaining efficiency and performance in applications ranging from agriculture to industrial processes.
