Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PNLIPRP2, or pancreatic lipase-related protein 2, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism and is primarily expressed in the pancreas. It is a member of the pancreatic lipase family and is involved in the hydrolysis of triglycerides into glycerol and free fatty acids, facilitating the digestion and absorption of dietary fats. Research into PNLIPRP2 has gained significance due to its potential implications in various metabolic disorders, such as obesity, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. Understanding the functional properties and regulatory mechanisms of this enzyme can provide insights into its role in health and disease. The recombinant expression of PNLIPRP2 allows for extensive biophysical and biochemical characterizations, enabling scientists to investigate its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interaction with other proteins. By studying the recombinant form of PNLIPRP2, researchers aim to elucidate its contribution to lipid metabolism and identify potential therapeutic targets for metabolic diseases. Aspects such as its interaction with dietary compounds and inhibitors are also of interest, which could pave the way for the development of pharmacological agents to modulate its activity in pathological conditions. Overall, PNLIPRP2 represents an important focus within metabolic research, with the recombinant protein offering a valuable tool for advancing our understanding of lipid digestion and metabolism.
