LMAN2L

简介
The LMAN2L protein plays a critical role in cellular processes and may regulate the export of a specific subset of glycoproteins from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Its involvement in glycoprotein export suggests a regulatory function within the endoplasmic reticulum. LMAN2L Protein, Human (295a.a, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived LMAN2L protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LMAN2L, a member of the LMAN family, plays a crucial role in the intracellular transport of glycoproteins and is implicated in the proper functioning of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus. Research has shown that LMAN2L is involved in various cellular processes, including the regulation of protein glycosylation, which is essential for cell signaling and immune responses. Mutations or dysregulation of LMAN2L have been associated with several diseases, including congenital disorders of glycosylation and certain types of cancer. Understanding the structure and function of LMAN2L can provide insights into its role in these pathological conditions and potentially reveal therapeutic targets. Studies have focused on the characterization of LMAN2L through recombinant protein technology, exploring its expression, purification, and functional assays. This research aims to unravel the molecular mechanisms by which LMAN2L contributes to glycoprotein trafficking and stability, thus enhancing our understanding of its significance in cell biology and disease pathology. The development of LMAN2L recombinant proteins is also vital for high-throughput screening of small molecules that may correct glycosylation defects or modulate LMAN2L activity, opening avenues for novel therapeutic strategies in related diseases.
