稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SOST (Sclerostin) is a glycoprotein primarily produced by osteocytes, playing a crucial role in bone metabolism and homeostasis. Its primary function is to inhibit the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for osteoblast differentiation and bone formation. Elevated SOST expression is associated with conditions such as osteoporosis, where bone density is significantly reduced, leading to an increased risk of fractures. Conversely, decreased SOST levels have been linked to diseases characterized by excessive bone formation, like osteopetrosis. Given these implications, researchers have been investigating the therapeutic potential of SOST and its analogs in treating bone-related disorders. Techniques such as recombinant protein expression and purification have been employed to produce SOST for in vitro and in vivo studies, aiming to better understand its mechanisms and develop potential SOST-targeted therapies. Furthermore, studies are exploring the effects of SOST inhibition on enhancing bone density and improving overall skeletal health, positioning SOST as a significant target for future osteoporosis treatments.
