简介
The LILRB2/CD85d/ILT-4 protein is a receptor for class I MHC antigens and can recognize multiple HLA alleles. It crucially downregulates the immune response and builds tolerance. LILRB2/CD85d/ILT-4 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, Avi-His) is the recombinant human-derived LILRB2/CD85d/ILT-4 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LILRB2, also known as CD85d or ILT-4, is a member of the Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-like Receptor (LILR) family, which plays a significant role in the regulation of immune responses. It is primarily expressed on various immune cell types, including monocytes, dendritic cells, and certain T cells, where it modulates immune signaling pathways and influences the balance between immune activation and tolerance. Research into LILRB2/CD85d/ILT-4 has garnered attention due to its potential implications in autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. The protein functions as an inhibitory receptor that can bind to MHC class I molecules, leading to the inhibition of T cell activation and promoting immune tolerance, which is crucial for maintaining homeostasis within the immune system. Moreover, its expression has been associated with tumor progression and immune evasion, making it a target of interest for immunotherapy strategies. The recombinant expression of LILRB2/CD85d/ILT-4 facilitates the exploration of its structural and functional characteristics, enabling a better understanding of its role in immune modulation and providing insights for therapeutic interventions. Consequently, ongoing studies are focused on elucidating the mechanisms underlying LILRB2/CD85d/ILT-4's effects on immune cell functions, and its potential as a biomarker for disease prognosis and as a therapeutic target in personalized medicine approaches.
