简介
Semaphorin-7A (SEMA7A) plays a key role in integrin-mediated signaling, affecting multiple cellular functions, including cell migration and immune responses. SEMA7A promotes focal adhesion complex formation, activates PTK2/FAK1 and induces phosphorylation of MAPK1 and MAPK3. Semaphorin-7A/SEMA7A Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Semaphorin-7A/SEMA7A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-8*His labeled tag.

生物活性
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human SEMA7A at 2 μg/mL can bind Anti- SEMA7A antibody. The ED50 for this effect is 13.27 ng/mL. 稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Semaphorin-7A (SEMA7A) is a member of the semaphorin family, which plays a pivotal role in various biological processes, including neural development, immune response, and tissue regeneration. Initially identified as an axon guidance molecule, SEMA7A has gained attention for its involvement in cell adhesion and migration, particularly in relation to inflammatory diseases and cancer metastasis. Recent studies have demonstrated that SEMA7A interacts with specific receptors, thereby modulating signaling pathways that affect cell behavior. Furthermore, aberrant expression of SEMA7A is linked to various pathologies, including autoimmune disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. The production of recombinant SEMA7A proteins has emerged as a crucial tool for investigating its biological functions and mechanisms. Such recombinant proteins allow researchers to elucidate the roles of SEMA7A in cell signaling, explore its potential as a therapeutic target, and facilitate the development of SEMA7A-based interventions. The comprehensive study of SEMA7A through recombinant proteins is essential for uncovering its multifaceted roles in health and disease, advancing our understanding of cellular interactions, and paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies.
