简介
BTN3A1/CD277 Protein, functioning as a homodimer, regulates activated T-cell proliferation, controls cytokine release, and mediates T-cell response to cells with elevated phosphorylated metabolites, such as isopentenyl pyrophosphate, contributing to T-cell activation and the adaptive immune response. BTN3A1/CD277 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived BTN3A1/CD277 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BTN3A1, also known as CD277, is an intriguing member of the butyrophilin (BTN) family, playing a significant role in immune regulation. It is primarily expressed on antigen-presenting cells and has been implicated in the activation of T cells, particularly in the context of γδ T cell responses. Research indicates that BTN3A1 interacts with the T cell receptor (TCR) and may influence the recognition of non-peptide antigens, thus modulating immune responses against cancer and infectious agents. The protein's ability to act as a co-stimulatory molecule makes it a critical target for immunotherapy. Given the increasing interest in developing effective cancer treatments and understanding autoimmune diseases, BTN3A1/CD277 has gained attention as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The production of recombinant BTN3A1 protein facilitates in-depth studies of its structure, function, and interactions, allowing researchers to elucidate its role in immune regulation more precisely. Furthermore, investigating BTN3A1/CD277’s mechanisms may lead to innovative strategies in enhancing T cell responses, paving the way for novel immunotherapeutic applications. As the field of immunology continues to evolve, the functional characterization of BTN3A1/CD277 and its influence on T cell activation are poised to contribute significantly to the development of next-generation cancer therapies and understanding immune system dynamics.
