Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TM4SF2 (Transmembrane 4 LSix Family Member 2) and TSPAN7 (Tetraspanin 7) are members of the tetraspanin superfamily, known for their role in cell membrane dynamics and interactions. These proteins participate in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, adhesion, and migration, which are critical in both normal physiological functions and pathological conditions such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Recent studies have implicated TM4SF2 in liver fibrogenesis and cancer progression, while TSPAN7 has been linked to neuronal cell signaling and cognitive functions. The investigation of TM4SF2/TSPAN7 recombinant proteins is crucial for understanding their individual and cooperative roles in cellular contexts. The recombinant expression of these proteins allows for the elucidation of their structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to study their interactions with other membrane proteins and their involvement in signal transduction pathways. Furthermore, understanding how these proteins affect cellular behaviors can provide insights into their potential as therapeutic targets. The exploration of TM4SF2 and TSPAN7 through recombinant technology not only enhances our comprehension of their biological functions but also opens avenues for developing novel strategies to modulate their activity in disease contexts.
