简介
OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 Protein, a cytokine, binds TNFRSF4, acting as a potent T-cell co-stimulator for proliferation and cytokine production. As a homotrimer, its pivotal interaction with TNFRSF4 enhances immune response by activating and expanding T-cells. This engagement contributes to intricate regulation, making OX40 Ligand a key mediator in modulating T-cell functions for effective and controlled immune activation. OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 Protein, Rabbit (P. pastoris, His-Myc) is the recombinant Rabbit-derived OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 protein, expressed by P. pastoris , with C-6*His, Myc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OX40 Ligand (OX40L), also known as TNFSF4, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily and plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses, particularly in T cell activation and survival. OX40L is primarily expressed on antigen-presenting cells and interacts with its receptor OX40 on T cells, leading to enhanced T cell proliferation, survival, and memory formation. The OX40/OX40L pathway has garnered significant interest in cancer immunotherapy, as it can bolster anti-tumor T cell responses. Furthermore, dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to various autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions. Research on recombinant OX40L protein involves its production, characterization, and assessment of its effects on T cell function in both in vitro and in vivo models. Understanding the structure-function relationship of OX40L and its interaction with OX40 provides insight into potential therapeutic applications, including the development of OX40 agonists for enhancing T cell responses against tumors or the design of antagonists to mitigate excessive immune activation in autoimmune diseases. Overall, the study of recombinant OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 is vital for unveiling new strategies in immunotherapy and advancing the field of immune modulation.
