  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TNF-beta, also known as Tumor Necrosis Factor Superfamily Member 1 (TNFSF1), is a pivotal cytokine in the immune system that plays a critical role in regulating various cellular processes, including inflammation, immune response, and apoptosis. Initially identified for its ability to induce tumor cell death, TNF-beta has since garnered attention for its multifaceted roles in both adaptive and innate immunity. The study of recombinant TNF-beta has gained significant traction due to its potential therapeutic applications in autoimmune diseases, cancer treatment, and immune modulation. Researchers have focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying TNF-beta signaling pathways, as well as its interactions with specific receptors, such as TNFR1 and TNFR2. Additionally, recombinant proteins allow for the investigation of TNF-beta's effects on various cell types, including T cells, B cells, and macrophages, providing insights into how it orchestrates immune responses. Furthermore, owing to its dual role in promoting inflammation and inducing apoptosis in certain contexts, TNF-beta presents a complex target for drug development, necessitating a deeper understanding of its biological functions. The exploration of TNF-beta/TNFSF1 recombinant proteins is not only instrumental in elucidating the cytokine's biological activities but also offers a promising avenue for designing innovative therapeutic strategies against a range of diseases characterized by dysregulated immune responses.
