Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NKG2A-CD94 heterodimeric receptor plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in natural killer (NK) cells and certain T cell subsets. This receptor is part of the C-type lectin-like family and functions as an inhibitory receptor, allowing immune cells to recognize and respond to stressed, infected, or transformed cells. The engagement of NKG2A with its ligands, primarily the HLA-E molecule, is essential for maintaining self-tolerance and preventing autoimmunity. Given its pivotal role in immune regulation, NKG2A has garnered considerable interest as a potential therapeutic target in cancer immunotherapy. Research has focused on the structural and functional characterization of the NKG2A-CD94 heterodimer to facilitate the design of antagonistic or blocking antibodies. Additionally, recombinant forms of this protein can aid in elucidating its signaling mechanisms, its interactions with ligands, and its overall contributions to immune evasion by tumors. Furthermore, understanding the dynamics of NKG2A-CD94 can enhance the development of immune checkpoint inhibitors, paving the way for more effective cancer treatments. In summary, the exploration of NKG2A-CD94 heterodimeric proteins is a key area of immunological research with significant implications for improving cancer immunotherapy strategies.
