简介
The FGFR-2 α IIIc protein is a tyrosine protein kinase receptor for fibroblast growth factor and is critical for embryonic development, regulating proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its importance is evident in embryonic patterning, trophoblast function, limb bud development, lung morphogenesis, osteogenesis, and skin development. FGFR-2 beta (IIIb) Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived FGFR-2 beta IIIb protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FGFR-2 beta (IIIb), a member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) family, has garnered significant interest due to its critical role in various physiological and pathological processes, including embryonic development, tissue repair, and tumorigenesis. FGFRs, particularly FGFR-2, are known to be involved in signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. The beta (IIIb) isoform of FGFR-2 is particularly relevant in the context of cancer, as it is often found to be overexpressed in several malignancies, contributing to tumor growth and metastasis. Research has focused on the therapeutic potential of targeting FGFR-2 beta (IIIb) in cancer treatment, including the development of small molecule inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies that can inhibit its activity. Moreover, understanding the structural and functional aspects of the FGFR-2 beta (IIIb) recombinant protein is crucial for drug design and the development of targeted therapies. Studies have highlighted the importance of FGFR-2 beta (IIIb) in mediating the effects of various ligands and its association with specific signaling pathways that promote oncogenic processes. In summary, the investigation of FGFR-2 beta (IIIb) recombinant protein serves as a promising avenue for uncovering new therapeutic strategies in oncology and understanding the complexities of FGFR signaling in both normal and diseased states.
