简介
The CD244 protein is an activating receptor that regulates NK cells and CD8+ T cells. It enhances NK cell cytotoxicity, IFN-γ production, and granule exocytosis. 2B4/CD244 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived 2B4/CD244 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The 2B4/CD244 protein is a significant member of the SLAM (signaling lymphocytic activation molecule) family, primarily recognized for its crucial role in regulating immune responses. This protein is predominantly expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes, where it mediates cell activation, proliferation, and survival through interactions with its ligands, such as CD48. Research into 2B4/CD244 has gained momentum due to its implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including immune regulation, cancer, and infectious diseases. Investigating 2B4/CD244 recombinant proteins allows researchers to delve into its structural and functional characteristics, thereby enhancing the understanding of immune cell signaling pathways. Moreover, 2B4/CD244 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target, with the prospect of developing monoclonal antibodies or engineered proteins to modulate immune responses in diseases like cancer or autoimmune disorders. Understanding the interactions and mechanisms of action of 2B4/CD244 can lead to novel strategies for immune modulation, making it a focal point in immunology research.
