Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 5 (CEACAM5), also known as CD66e, is a glycoprotein predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues and is often overexpressed in various cancers, particularly colorectal carcinoma. Due to its role in cell adhesion and tumor progression, CEACAM5 has garnered significant attention as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnostics and a target for therapeutic interventions. The development of FITC-labeled CEACAM5 recombinant proteins serves a dual purpose: enabling the visualization of CEACAM5 expression patterns in both normal and cancerous tissues, and facilitating the study of its biological functions in cell adhesion and metastasis. FITC labeling allows for effective fluorescent microscopy applications and flow cytometry, providing insights into CEACAM5’s involvement in tumorigenesis. This research not only aims to enhance our understanding of CEACAM5’s role in cancer biology but also to contribute to the development of targeted therapies and accurate diagnostic tools, potentially leading to improved patient outcomes in oncology.
