Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-18 receptor accessory protein (IL-18RAP) is an essential component of the interleukin-18 receptor complex, which plays a critical role in the immune response and inflammation. IL-18, a pro-inflammatory cytokine produced by activated macrophages and dendritic cells, is involved in a variety of biological processes, including the activation of T and natural killer (NK) cells, as well as the production of other cytokines. The interaction of IL-18 with its receptor complex, including IL-18RAP, is crucial for initiating signaling pathways that lead to the release of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) and other inflammatory mediators. Dysregulation of this pathway has been implicated in numerous diseases, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and chronic inflammatory diseases. Thus, understanding the structure and function of IL-18RAP is important for elucidating its role in these pathological conditions. Recombinant IL-18RAP protein has been developed for various research applications, including studies on receptor binding dynamics, signaling mechanisms, and therapeutic potential in modulating immune responses. By further exploring the properties of recombinant IL-18RAP, researchers aim to uncover novel insights into immunological pathways and therapeutic strategies to enhance immune responses or mitigate inflammation-related diseases.
