Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-18R beta (also known as IL-1R7) is a crucial component of the interleukin-18 receptor complex that plays a significant role in the immune response by mediating the effects of IL-18, a pro-inflammatory cytokine. This receptor is implicated in various inflammatory diseases and has garnered interest for its involvement in modulating immune responses in conditions such as autoimmune disorders, infections, and cancer. Research has shown that IL-18R beta can influence the activation and differentiation of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, which are essential for the body’s defense mechanisms. The recombinant protein of IL-18R beta is therefore studied for its potential therapeutic applications, including the development of novel immunotherapies. Understanding the structure, function, and signaling pathways of IL-18R beta could provide insights into its role in pathophysiology, thereby paving the way for targeted treatments that harness or inhibit its signaling functions. Additionally, exploring the interactions between IL-18R beta and other cytokines may reveal comprehensive mechanisms of immune regulation and contribute to advancing personalized medicine approaches in treating inflammatory diseases.
