  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The study of EPCR (Endothelial Protein C Receptor) recombinant proteins has gained significance due to the pivotal role EPCR plays in the regulation of coagulation and inflammatory responses. EPCR is primarily expressed on the surface of endothelial cells and is critical for the activation of Protein C, which, in turn, modulates thrombin generation and possesses anti-inflammatory properties. Dysfunction or altered expression of EPCR is associated with various pathological conditions, including thrombosis, sepsis, and cardiovascular disorders. As researchers seek to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions, recombinant EPCR proteins offer valuable tools for elucidating EPCR's biological functions and interactions. Through the production and characterization of these recombinant proteins, scientists can explore their therapeutic potential, develop targeted treatments, and investigate their role in disease processes. Understanding EPCR's function could lead to novel strategies for manipulating coagulation pathways, enhancing the body’s natural anticoagulant mechanisms, and reducing inflammation, thus mitigating the impact of related diseases. Overall, the research surrounding EPCR recombinant proteins is crucial for advancing our comprehension of hemostasis and inflammation, with promising implications for future medical interventions.
