简介
The CD229/SLAMF3 protein is an autoligand receptor in the SLAM family that regulates immune cell activation and differentiation through cell interactions. Essential for innate and adaptive immune responses, its activity is controlled by SH2D1A/SAP and/or SH2D1B/EAT-2. CD229/SLAMF3 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CD229/SLAMF3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD229, also known as SLAMF3 (Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule Family Member 3), is a member of the SLAM family of proteins, which play a critical role in immune system signaling and regulation. This transmembrane protein is predominantly expressed on the surface of immune cells, including T cells, B cells, and myeloid cells, where it participates in cell-cell interactions and the modulation of immune responses. Research has shown that CD229 can influence T-cell activation, proliferation, and cytokine production, making it a significant player in both adaptive and innate immune responses. The study of CD229 is particularly relevant in the context of autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases, as its unique functional properties may provide insights into the underlying mechanisms of immune dysregulation. Furthermore, the exploration of CD229 as a therapeutic target is gaining traction, given its potential to enhance anti-tumor immunity or mitigate excessive immune responses in autoimmune conditions. The development and characterization of CD229/SLAMF3 recombinant proteins enable researchers to better understand its biological functions and interactions with other immune molecules, facilitating the discovery of novel therapeutic strategies for manipulating immune responses in various diseases.
