Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Platelet-Derived Growth Factor A (PDGFA) is a crucial protein involved in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation. It plays a pivotal role in embryonic development, wound healing, and the maintenance of tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of PDGFA signaling has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including fibrosis, cancer, and vascular disorders. As a member of the PDGF family, PDGFA functions by binding to its receptors, PDGFR-α and PDGFR-β, activating downstream signaling pathways that influence cellular behavior. Research into recombinant PDGFA proteins has become increasingly significant for therapeutic applications, such as tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Recombinant PDGFA can be produced through various expression systems, allowing for the study of its biological functions and potential therapeutic effects in controlled environments. Recent studies have explored its use not only in stimulating cell growth and tissue repair but also in modulating immune responses, showing promise for applications in chronic diseases and localized tissue regeneration. Moreover, understanding the structural and functional characteristics of PDGFA aids in the design of PDGF inhibitors for targeted therapies. Overall, the advancement of PDGFA recombinant protein research holds potential for innovative treatment strategies, highlighting its importance in both fundamental biology and clinical applications.
