Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MUC3B is a member of the mucin family of glycoproteins, which play crucial roles in the protection and lubrication of epithelial surfaces. Mucins are heavily glycosylated, providing a barrier against pathogens and contributing to various biological processes, including cell signaling and immune response modulation. Research into MUC3B has gained momentum due to its expression in several tissues, including the gastrointestinal tract, and its potential involvement in cancer biology, particularly in colorectal cancer. Increased levels of MUC3B have been associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential, making it a candidate for potential diagnostic and therapeutic applications. The study of recombinant MUC3B protein has provided insights into its structure-function relationships and interactions with other cellular components, which could ultimately lead to the development of novel cancer biomarkers or immunotherapeutic strategies. Understanding the biochemical properties and signaling pathways associated with MUC3B could thus pave the way for innovative approaches to cancer management and enhance our comprehension of mucin biology in health and disease.
