Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FRMD6, also known as FERM domain-containing protein 6, has emerged as a significant protein of interest in cellular biology due to its involvement in various cellular processes. Research has indicated that FRMD6 is implicated in the regulation of cytoskeletal dynamics, cell adhesion, and signaling pathways, which are crucial for cell morphology and function. Its FERM (Band 4.1, ezrin, radixin, moesin) domain suggests a role in membrane-cytoskeleton interactions, linking cellular signals to structural components. Recent studies have highlighted its potential role in developmental processes and disease states, including cancer, where aberrant expression or mutation of FRMD6 can lead to altered cellular behavior. Given the complexity of these pathways and the multifaceted role of FRMD6, researchers have focused on recombinant protein studies to elucidate its structure-function relationship and interactions with other cellular components. The production of recombinant FRMD6 allows for in-depth analysis through biochemical assays, structural biology, and functional studies to better understand its biological significance. This knowledge is essential for uncovering potential therapeutic targets in diseases where FRMD6 dysregulation is involved, making it a promising candidate for further investigation in both fundamental and applied biosciences.
