Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OSCP1, or oxidative stress-induced calcium-binding protein 1, is a member of the calcium-binding protein family that plays a critical role in cellular processes related to oxidative stress responses, calcium homeostasis, and apoptosis. Research indicates that OSCP1 is involved in several physiological and pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, and inflammation. Due to its ability to bind calcium ions, OSCP1 influences various signaling pathways that modulate cellular responses to stress and injury, thereby affecting cell survival and functioning. The recombinant expression of OSCP1 has garnered attention as a potential tool for studying its biological functions in detail. By producing OSCP1 in a controlled environment, researchers can investigate its structural properties, binding affinities, and interactions with other cellular proteins. This can ultimately lead to a better understanding of its role in disease mechanisms and the development of therapeutic strategies targeting oxidative stress-related disorders. Given the increasing recognition of calcium's role in cellular signaling and the impact of oxidative stress on health, OSCP1 represents a promising target for both basic and applied research. Understanding its functional dynamics through recombinant protein studies may uncover valuable insights into the intricate balance between oxidative stress and cellular health, paving the way for innovative interventions in disease management and prevention.
