Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCNT, or Pericentrin, is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in centrosome function and organization, essential for maintaining proper cell division and stability. Abnormalities in PCNT expression or function have been linked to various diseases, particularly cancers, where centrosomal dysfunction can lead to chromosomal instability. Research into PCNT recombinant proteins has gained momentum due to the need for better understanding its structure, dynamics, and interactions in cellular processes. Recombinant PCNT can be used to elucidate its role in centrosome assembly, anchoring microtubules, and regulating the cell cycle. Moreover, these studies pave the way for potential therapeutic strategies targeting PCNT-related pathways in cancer treatment. By utilizing techniques such as protein purification and crystallography, researchers aim to characterize PCNT at a molecular level, offering insights that could contribute to the development of targeted therapies and advances in cellular biology. Ultimately, understanding PCNT’s functionality could provide a foundation for novel approaches in cancer therapy and insights into fundamental cellular mechanisms.
