Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of LCN8 (lipocalin 8), a member of the lipocalin family, has garnered attention due to its potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. Identified as a fatty acid-binding protein, LCN8 is believed to be involved in lipid transport and metabolism, influencing cellular signaling pathways and immune responses. Research indicates that LCN8 may play a role in reproductive health, specifically in spermatogenesis and ovarian function, as well as in certain diseases such as cancer and metabolic disorders. The recombinant expression of LCN8 allows for detailed analysis of its structure, function, and interactions with other biomolecules, providing insights into its biological significance. Through techniques such as crystallization and biophysical characterization, researchers aim to elucidate the mechanistic pathways regulated by LCN8 and its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding LCN8's functional properties could lead to advancements in diagnostic tools and treatment strategies for related health issues. As the field progresses, the development of LCN8 recombinant proteins will further enhance our comprehension of its multifaceted roles in human health and disease.
