Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The LEFTY2 protein, part of the TGF-β superfamily, plays a critical role in embryonic development and cellular signaling processes. Research has shown that LEFTY2 is involved in the regulation of mesoderm formation and patterning during early embryogenesis, particularly in the context of left-right asymmetry, which is crucial for organ placement in vertebrates. Aberrant LEFTY2 expression has been linked to various developmental disorders and diseases, including cancer. Studies have aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying LEFTY2 function, as well as its interactions with other signaling pathways, such as those mediated by the Wnt and BMP families. Understanding LEFTY2's role in signaling can provide insights into developmental biology and potential therapeutic targets for diseases associated with its dysregulation. Recent advancements in recombinant protein engineering have enabled the production and characterization of LEFTY2, facilitating further investigations into its biological activities and applications in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.
