Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UGT2A3 (UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 2A3) is an important enzyme involved in the process of drug metabolism and detoxification, primarily through the conjugation of various xenobiotics and endogenous compounds with glucuronic acid. This enzyme, part of the UDP-glucuronosyltransferase family, plays a crucial role in the metabolism of numerous substances, including hormones, pharmaceutical drugs, and environmental toxins. Understanding UGT2A3 and its functions is essential for elucidating the mechanisms of drug interaction and individual variability in drug response, particularly in the context of pharmacogenomics. Furthermore, research on UGT2A3 can provide insights into its potential therapeutic targets for diseases linked to altered drug metabolism, including cancer and metabolic disorders. The recombinant expression of UGT2A3 serves as a valuable tool for studying its enzymatic activities, substrate specificities, and interaction with other metabolic pathways. By producing UGT2A3 as a recombinant protein, researchers can explore its structural characteristics and enzyme kinetics, contributing to the broader understanding of its biological significance. This information can inform the development of more effective drugs, personalized medicine approaches, and strategies to mitigate adverse drug reactions. Overall, the study of UGT2A3 recombination not only enhances our understanding of drug metabolism but also underscores the importance of this enzyme in the context of human health and disease.
