Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBXD8, a member of the UBX protein family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its critical roles in cellular processes such as protein homeostasis and degradation. It is known to interact with the ubiquitin proteasome system (UPS), where it plays a pivotal role in regulating protein turnover and cellular quality control. Research indicates that UBXD8 modulates the activity of deubiquitinating enzymes, impacting various signaling pathways. Furthermore, its involvement in autophagy and response to cellular stress underscores its importance in maintaining cellular health. Aberrations in UBXD8 expression or function have been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structural and functional aspects of UBXD8, particularly through the study of its recombinant protein, can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and broader implications in cellular physiology. This budding field of research may pave the way for novel strategies to manipulate UBXD8 activity for therapeutic purposes.
