Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is a member of the basic Helix-Loop-Helix (bHLH) transcription factor family, and it plays a crucial role in mediating the biological effects of environmental pollutants, particularly polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and dioxins. The study of recombinant AhR proteins has gained significant attention due to their importance in toxicology, pharmacology, and cancer research. AhR is activated upon binding with various ligands, leading to the transcriptional regulation of target genes involved in xenobiotic metabolism, immune responses, and cell proliferation. Furthermore, dysregulation of AhR signaling has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. Researchers utilize recombinant AhR proteins to investigate the mechanisms of ligand recognition, binding affinities, and subsequent signal transduction pathways. Such studies enable a deeper understanding of the receptor's structural biology and its role in cellular processes, paving the way for the development of therapeutic strategies targeting AhR-related pathways. Recent advances in protein engineering and expression systems have facilitated the production of highly purified and functional AhR proteins, allowing for high-throughput screenings and functional assays that contribute to the understanding of AhR's role in health and disease. As environmental concerns grow and the need for better understanding of toxic responses becomes paramount, the research on recombinant AhR proteins continues to be an important area of investigation, bridging the gap between environmental health and molecular biology.
