Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ZHX2, or zinc finger homeobox 2, is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cellular differentiation, development, and regulation of gene expression. Recent studies have identified ZHX2 as a key player in metabolic disorders, particularly obesity and type 2 diabetes, due to its involvement in adipogenesis and insulin signaling pathways. Researchers have shown that ZHX2 can regulate the expression of genes related to fat storage and glucose metabolism, making it a potential therapeutic target for metabolic diseases. The recombinant protein of ZHX2 is being investigated to better understand its functional mechanisms and interactions with other proteins. By producing ZHX2 in a recombinant form, scientists aim to explore its structural properties and biological activity in more detail. This research not only enhances our understanding of ZHX2’s role in metabolic regulation but also paves the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at combating obesity and related metabolic disorders. Understanding ZHX2's direct interactions with other key metabolic regulators through recombinant studies may provide insight into new drug targets and treatment approaches, highlighting the protein's importance in both basic research and clinical applications.
