稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Insulin-like Growth Factor I (IGF-I), also known as IGF-1, is a polypeptide that plays a crucial role in growth and development, particularly in childhood and adolescence. It is primarily produced in the liver in response to growth hormone stimulation and functions by mediating various anabolic effects, including cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation. Due to its significant roles in cellular processes, IGF-I has garnered attention in both clinical and pharmaceutical research, especially regarding its implications in growth disorders, age-related conditions, and metabolic diseases. Recombinant IGF-I proteins have been developed as therapeutic agents to treat conditions like growth hormone deficiency and to support recovery in muscle-wasting diseases. Additionally, IGF-I's involvement in the mechanistic pathways of aging, diabetes, and cancer has stimulated extensive investigations into its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. The production of recombinant IGF-I involves advanced biotechnology techniques, allowing for the generation of biologically active forms of the protein that can be studied for their physiological effects and therapeutic applications. Given its multifaceted roles, ongoing research continues to explore the nuances of IGF-I signaling pathways and their relevance in health and disease, paving the way for innovative treatments and strategies to manipulate these pathways for improved clinical outcomes.
